I like to educate my clients regarding computer security measures. While I cannot present myself as an expert, I found myself floowing a number of the experts suggestions and you should as well.

Ars Technica has posted an article regarding expert versus non-expert opinions about the most important security steps one can take. It’s a worthwhile read.

What amateurs can learn from security pros about staying safe online

Number one for the experts, is to immediately install software updates. They also suggest “Two Factor Authentication”. It is a burden to implement, but worth the effort.
